Robert H. Lengel – Bio Robert H. Lengel, President BS Aerospace Engineering, Penn State University MS Engineering Science, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute MBA, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Ph.D., Texas A&M University Dr. Lengel’s education and work experience map a career that includes aerospace engineering, industrial sales and marketing, financial services and money management, environmental analysis and consulting, and academics. In this last role, he served as the founding director of an Executive EMBA program and an executive education center at the University of Texas at San Antonio, both of which focused on the creation and application of innovative transdisciplinary approaches to leadership development and change dynamics. He has published numerous scientific articles, including nationally recognized work on information richness and is the co-author of a book with Richard Daft entitled Fusion Leadership. His most recent work focuses on the organizational impact of leadership development efforts, Complex Transformative Conversations and opening the research lens on leadership and transformation to include the arts and humanities. Over his career, Bob has worked with a diverse set of organizations to lead strategic conversation and organizational change efforts and to develop institutional leadership capabilities.
